What are your hours of operation?
Our busiest days are generally Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday, and 6pm – 8pm are normally our peak business hours.
In the case of inclement weather, please call 828-350-0505 to confirm we are open.
Are reservations necessary?
We strongly recommend making a reservation when you plan to visit, though seating at our main bar and the raw oyster bar are always first come- first served.
Parties of 6 or more should call ahead to confirm available seating, though we do accept all walk-in customers if we have the capacity. Without a reservation, you may need to wait for seating.

Where can I park?
We recommend parking on the street at a meter, which is free after 6pm Monday through Saturday, and is free all day Sunday. The nearest meters are located on Patton Avenue, Church Street, and Commerce Street.
If no meters are available, the closest parking garage is located on Rankin Avenue.
There are two parking lots on Patton Avenue directly across from The Lobster Trap. They are privately owned and are not open to the general public until 5pm. These lots require you to pay for your space at the kiosks.
What are your sourcing standards?
We only source the highest quality products that meet our sustainability standards. For more information about how we source our product please refer here.
What is Oyster Night?
Every Tuesday you can join us for Asheville Oyster Night and enjoy discounts on house oysters. This can be a highly popular event. The special is only available while supplies last.
Keep an eye out for the next Asheville Oyster Eating Contest.
Does your menu change?
Though we are strongly committed to the traditional classics that make up the bulk of our menu, we do offer seasonal specials that combine fresh seafood with Appalachian flavors. These specials are only available while supplies last, and once gone are often gone forever.
